Hyderabad based Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNSIT), the first institution to be accredited by AICTE, and the Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology (V-CAT), an accredited institution, established 75 years ago in New York, USA has entered into an MoU to offer 4 year B.S. Degree in Avionics for the first time in India. This is first of its kind in Technical Education system of India to get approval from AICTE for Technical Education Collaboration with a foreign Institution. The institute is located at Ghatkesar, in Andhra Pradesh. This new international collaboration between Vaughn College and SNSIT will allow Indian students to enroll in Vaughn’s degree programs at Sreenidhi. Indian students will also have the option to complete their degree at Vaughn’s main campus in New York. The institute will offer B.S. Course in Electronics Engineering Technology (Avionics) and admission are open to students who have qualified in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects. Students qualified in AIEEE examination (or) should have scored at least 60% marks in English and Mathematics (or) should qualify in a proficiency test conducted by Vaughn College, USA are also eligible for applying for the BS Course.
